I first met Agnes, a.k.a. The MC with the Golden Voice (literally), at a church concert where she hosted for one of Nigeria’s popular Christian artists, Eben. Her strong voice, energy, and command over the crowd instantly captured me. She was entertaining and had this unique presence that made you stop and listen whenever she spoke on the microphone.

Years later, I saw her again at a wedding I attended. Agnes was the MC, and wow—she did an extraordinary job! She made a memorable dance entrance, kept the guests engaged, and even incorporated the couple’s love story and passion for basketball into the celebration. She created a fun basketball game at the reception that had everyone laughing and participating. I was so impressed that I approached her afterwards, told her how amazing she was, and promised she would MC my wedding one day—even though I wasn’t even engaged yet!

Fast forward to 2020, I got engaged and reached out to Agnes. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we had to downsize and didn’t need an MC. But when I gave birth to my miracle baby a year later, I knew I wanted Agnes to MC the dedication and celebration. She showed up with the same full energy and captivating presence I experienced the very first time I met her. My husband and I were beyond happy and satisfied—she truly made the day unforgettable.
